Executive Director and Producer - Janelle Wright
More than 20 years ago, Janelle Wright began her career as an entrepreneur and businesswoman. She is a licensed senior cosmetologist and was formerly a licensed real estate agent in the State of Maryland.
As a small business owner, Janelle possesses a broad range of experience and demonstrates a high level of accountability for the services she provides. Janelle consistently demonstrates her passion for cosmetology by providing a personal touch to each and every client she serves.
Having successfully launched multiple businesses including a hair salon and day spa, Janelle's background has afforded her the opportunity and exposure to lead, direct, participate in, and facilitate a host of key activities and initiatives that impact the local cosmetology industry.
Currently, she operates Styles by Janelle, a small business specializing in providing individualized beauty services to a range of clients, regardless of age or race.
Janelle has served as the official hair styling sponsor for multiple beauty pageants such as Mrs. DC America, Miss World America and Miss World which she hopes to use as a catalyst in helping to direct more attention to the wealth of talent available in Prince George's County, MD.
Janelle currently serves on the Board of Advisors for Path to Greatness and participates in a number of charitable activities that range from feeding the homeless to raising much needed funds for worth charitable causes.
Janelle attended Prince George's Community College and is a lifelong resident of Prince George's County. She currently lives in the city Clinton with her husband and four children.
